Summary
Painting of the Royal Court of Queen Elizabeth I, the Queen shown reclining on a wide seat to the left, with a young boy kneeling before her offering a tray with something atop. Courtiers consisting of two men and one woman are standing behind to the right, looking intently at Queen Elizabeth I. Queen Elizabeth looks directly at the viewer and sits surrounded by luxury items such as a large, red chair and hanging blue drapes. She wears a corset dress and headpiece which are similarly luxurious, with a large ruff at her collar, she is surrounded my layers of fabric from her dress which is peach, brown and blue in colour. Her arms are outstretched and she has a stern expression on her face.
