Window, South of France
Duncan Grant 21 Jan 1885 - 8 May 1978
Summary
A view through an open cottage window in the south of France, across sunlit fields. Inside the cottage the walls are decorated with loud floral paper. There is a wooden kitchen chair with a wicker seat positioned by window, and a vase of red flowers on the windowsill. The yellow tones of the outside landscape suggest the strength of the French sunlight in this idyllic countryside landscape.
