Summary

Stone-coloured fibre braid. Lined with stiffened muslin. Sewn spirally from centre. Brim projecting at slight angle at centre front. Join of crown and brim draped with white embroidered net and khaki satin ribbon, falling over top of crown at front. Dust-coloured silk rosette at centre back and grey-brown ostrich feather curving round front from right to left. Dust-coloured silk strings. Brim wired and faced turquoise corded silk.
