Black wholestraw plait. Plaited spirally from centre of hemispherical crown, joined to almost flat brim, wired at edge, seamed down centre back and held at sides in pleat parallel with edge. Black velvet bow on centre back brim, spotted black cotton net over front underside of brim, separate section draped over side back topside, continuing on to underside and stitched at centre back seam.
