Summary

Half-length frontal portrait of a young woman with short hair, wearing a short-sleeved dress. She sits with arms folded across her lap, leaning forward with her eyes slightly downcast. Plain pale blue background, painted in broad brushstrokes of colour, which is brighter surrounding the woman. The artist makes interesting use of electric blue in outlining the woman, as a way of distinguishing shadow.
