Summary

A view across a calm lake on a bright day, with reeds in the water and low hills in the background. The water is reflecting cloud patterns above, illuminating the water with white tones. There is a tree to the left, cut off by the artist's composition, in dark green with yellow tones. The reeds below are in light green on a sand-coloured bed. The sky is very bright blue and the paint application is notably slightly mottled, this is also repeated in the paint application of the tree.
