Summary
Public: Small circular bowl, red earthenware, with turquoise Opalescent-veined glaze and green Starry Opalescent crystals pooling in the well. Private: Deep circular bowl on prominent foot-ring. Opalescent-veined glaze on interior and exterior of bowl gives streaky feathery effect, red earthenware body visible beneath turquoise glaze streaks, especially round rim. Inside bowl, on sides beneath rim, small patches of tiny green Starry Opalescent crystals, crystalline glaze containing cobalt fired to 1000 C. Dark green glaze on footring and round exterior base of bowl, pooling in bowl well.
