Summary
Rural scene depicting a ripening field of corn growing within a flat and open landscape; to the right, appearing above and closely surrounded by the corn are the roofs of a cottage and outbuildings, behind which are a line of trees; approaching the buildings through the cornfield are two figures in red. In the foreground is a watery track with a large grassy mound to the right. The scene is dominated by lowering clouds.
