Candy Man

Michael Tyzack 1933 - 2007

Summary

Abstract painting comprising pale tongue shape extending downward from the top of the picture, patterned with two wavy lines moving from left to right. Second shape in the form of a rectangle with flared ends extends upwards from the bottom of the picture, also with two wavy lines from left to right; two shapes are prevented from meeting by a narrow horizontal bar across the lower half of the picture. The red and blue tones reference consumer goods, specifically sweets and candy as the title indicates.
