Summary

There is a broad axe in the wheelbarrow, and a spade to the right of the wheelbarrow with two empty flowerpots in front. Behind the barrow there is a pink blossoming tree with a white trunk. In the background there are green bushes and trees, and to the left there is a large palm tree. The sky is blue and the garden is being flooded with sunlight, which is casting large shadows across the garden. There is much use of bold, flat, planes of colour and simplfied depictions of objects.
