Summary

Left side profile of a horse with docked tail, in a parkland setting with trees to the left and the roof of a tower just visible over the crest of a hill to the left. The owner stands to the left of the horse looking toward the viewer and gesturing toward the horse with one hand; a groom, in riding clothes and hat, stands behind the horse with one arm leaning upon the saddle. Driver was a hunting horse given by the Hon Lord John Gray (from Dunham Massey) to Mr Cook.
