Summary

Rectangular wooden box with top corners cut on cross, painted red on sides and white on back. The front has a yellow flower with dark green leaves on a dark, dusty blue background. The structure of the wooden base resembles funeral architecture, specifically a head stone. This work is from a series which commemorates certain plants threatened with extinction; each work is a shrine to various endangered species of plant or shell.
