About us

Manchester Art Gallery is the Original Useful Museum.
We believe that our visitors should see themselves reflected in our shop, with a range of price points. We strive to provide a quality offer that’s sustainable and fairly traded.
Funds from purchases made in the shop are reinvested into Manchester Art Gallery to make great art, exhibitions, learning and thinking happen, and to look after the city’s collection of artworks.
We support and champion the local creative economy with selling platforms and collaborations. We want the shop to be a creative, inspirational, aspirational, safe and friendly environment.
We strive to learn and listen and constantly test and to be regarded as a leading cultural retailer in the Northwest and the UK.

If you are an independent maker please complete as much of the form as possible. There may be some questions you feel aren’t applicable but the more informed we are about your work, the better placed we are to decide if you products are the right fit for us.
