Sleeveless evening dress in turquoise slubbed (wild) silk with contrasting ivory silk bodice with applied vertical turquoise bands; horizontal ivory band to hem; bodice trimmed with turquoise bows to front and back and shouilders; full skirt with deep flounce to hem with ivory showing below and 2 attached petticoats; separate broad turquoise belt backed in white kid with buckle; label on side seam 'Jean Patou, Paris' and '86453'. From 1963-73, Michel Goma was chief designer at Patou (Jean Patou himself died in 1936)
