Summary

Regency style circular vegetable tureen on shallow foot, with rounded belly curving in to everted rim, and two applied handles extending up body from foot terminating in scrolls at shoulder. Shallow domed cover with finial in the form of an open flower, pierced in the centre to allow for escaping steam. Printed overglaze in black with a large continuous border round sides of ivy vines sprouting leaves and small clusters of berries, painted naturalistically in brown and green. Handles picked out in green with anthemion details, foot and rim with narrow green bands. Cover printed and painted with same ivy border, rim edged in green, finial picked out with green details.
