Making Aircraft: Aircraft Banking at 4000ft

Christopher Richard Wynne Nevinson 1889 - 1946

Summary

Biplane seen from behind flying high and banking over cultivated land. The arms and legs of a figure sat in the rear of the plane are just visible to the left, and the back of the pilot can be seen at the front of the plane just behind the propellor. The sky is cloudy. The landscape below is the same as that seen in Aircraft (1942.27) also by Nevinson.
