Summary

A street corner with three and four storey buildings. There are shop fronts at street level; signs 'Comestie' and 'Charcuterie' can be seen at the centre. Two women are stood facing one another on the pavement in front of the shops at the centre. There is a lamppost on the corner of the street and a man on the pavement to the right; the man has his back to the viewer. At the top of the buildings an assortment of different level rooftops and chimneys can be seen.
