Summary

Elizabeth Kerr (1745-1780), Countess of Ancrum, was the daughter of Chichester Fortescue of Dromisken, Co. Louth and Elizabeth Wellesley, daughter of the 1st Lord Mornington. In 1763 she married Lord Newbottle who (on the death of his grandfather 3rd Marquess of Lothianin in 1767) was styled Earl of Ancrum.
