Flared A-line shape with turn-down collar; 5 clouded plastic buttons CF with concealed flap-fastening ; raglan sleeves with tabbed cuffs with buttons; slanted side pockets with buttons; separate belt with rectangular buckle; CB inverted box pleat from shoulders to hem with tab halfway down; side seams. Lined grey viscose. Labels "Burberrys, made in England" and "Specially made for Burberrys in Harris Tweed, hand woven in the Outer Hebrides". See also coat (1997.243-4) & suit (1997.241).
