Cherchel, on the Algerian Coast from the sea
Summary
A reproduction produced by the Vasari Society of a drawing by Jacques Callot. It shows a rocky landscape at the edge of open water in the lower part of the composition. The peach-coloured landscape has trees across it, and there are mountains beyond. In the water in the foreground are six boats which appear to have many oars. The texts for numbers 31 and 32 are grouped together in the accompanying booklet produced by the Vasari Society. This reads: "Nos. 31, 32 JACQUES CALLOT (b. 1592; d. 1635) Collection of A.
