A bust-length portrait of a girl; she wears a yellow bonnet with a wide, decorative, black band around it and a posy of blue and pink flowers fixed at the point where the chin-strap is fastened; she has russet-coloured hair, tied with a dark brown ribbon, and wears an aqua-marine coloured garment.
