Interior sitting room scene, two young ladies sitting at green baize card table to right, playing cards, large woman housekeeper standing behind them. Gentleman in a red coat sits with his back to the table, there is a young boy standing between his legs. He has hold of the young boy's arms, teaching him how to box, facing second young boy. There is an open door in background.
