Summary

Heart shaped teapot, with angled wavy base and shoulder, and short heart shaped neck. Curved spout in the form of open-mouthed serpent, moulded with panels of shells and other motifs down sides, plain loop handle with two cut notches at thumb rest and rat's tail lower terminal. Sides and shoulder slip-cast in relief with fruiting leafy grapevines.
