Summary

Public: Ovoid vase made of cream coloured bone china, body finely pierced with complex geometric pattern, gilt relief-moulded details to neck and foot. Private: Ovoid vase on high ornate base comprising four shaped bracket feet, each with relief mask picked out in gilt. Short everted neck with relief-moulded undulating rim in the form of opening pea pods, with two handles in the form of grotesque masks and chain rings, rim and handles picked out in gilt. Finely cast off-white bone china body, with reticulated honeycomb pattern interrupted around waist by shaped border, network picked out with gilt spots. Gilt lambrequin border to solid shoulder, tongue and spot border to lower body above base.
