Bishop Stanley's Tomb- Reproduction
Summary
View looking at two rectangular shaped tomb stones, one at the top half of the paper, the other on the lower half of the page. The one at the top has an image of a man on the lid of the tomb. He is wearing a mitre and a long robe and is holding a long staff in his left hand. On the side of the tomb can be seen two coats of arms, one at either end, with a figure in between. Above this is written "PURBECK MARBLE" and on the right "PINK/ RUNCORN/ STONE". Below is a plainer looking tomb, which is also rectangular in shape. Above this is written "YORK STONE".
