Summary
Day suit in scarlet wild silk with contrasting bands of cerise silk at neck and jacket hem. Fitted DB jacket with side oval collarless neck; 3 pairs of square gilt metal buttons, with pairs of matching buttons each cuff; applied 6cm band of cerise silk to neck, jacket hem and skirt hem. Short mini-skirt, 37cms long. Both lined red acetate, and labelled 'Claude Montana, Paris, made in Italy'. Belonged to Daphne Guinness.
