Her dress has a bodice is trimmed with ribbon and flounces. Sleeves are similarly trimmed and are trumpet shaped. Her skirt has an apron front trimmed with ribbon and flounce. She is resting her arm on the back of a padded chair. Dress seems a little loose and ill fitting. Written on the back in pencil "Miss L. Knowles / Milliner's assistant". Shop keeper.
