She is wearing a tall hat with a velvet brim and silk ribbon trim and a dark wool dress with a fitted boned bodice extending into a point with applied braid decoration either side centre front and at the cuffs. She has a standing collar, full length narrow sleeves and her bodice fastens centre front with covered buttons. Her skirt is pleated at the hips and gathered at the front and she is holding a pair of leather gloves.
