Summary
Full length portrait of a girl. Studio portrait of an outdoor scene with a painted backdrop of trees and flowers and piles of leaves and flowers on the ground either side of the girl. The girls hair is worn in a chignon and she wears a wool, knee length dress with a long tunic bodice extending over the hips. Her bodice has a narrow turned down colar and fastens centre front with hooks and eyes and she has full length fitted sleeves with pleated cuffs and frill trim. She wears a locket round her neck and her bodice is decorated with striped panels down each side of the centre front. Her skirt is plain with a deep hem and a pleated cotton frill trim.
