She is wearing a dark dress with fine vertical pleats down the centre of the bodice, a standing collar with brooch, and a skirt with a bustle at the back. Over the dress she is wearing a white pinafore tied into a bow at the back above the bustle. The pinafore has a mottled effect over the skirt. Also wearing a white lace cap with a scalloped edge. Probably a servant.
