Summary

Pink cotton muslin striped with pink and orange, and white satin stripes. Also fawn stripes, concealed in tucks. Lined with pink cotton (poplin). Muslin tucked horizontally throughout, and formed into a closely fitting tube extending from just above the bust down to the ankle, the neckline dipping at back. LS seam open and overlapping at base. Lining in the form of a slip, with strapless boned top, fastening CB with zip. Inner waistband of white corded ribbon, fastening CB with hook and loop, CB lining open at base. Long piece of loosely-woven pink cotton crepe pleated to top of left efge of back opening, extending round top edge of dress under left arm to just below right shoulder, continuing over shoulder to conceal narrow pink crepe shoulder-strap, then flowing loose till it reached back seam just below waist.
