Silk tie in diagonal bands of browns, gold and blue with a Chinese inspired wave motif centrally; blue Westwood orb woven in; lined claret silk woven with Vivienne Westwood. Bought and worn by the Principal Manager of Exhibitions at Manchester Art Gallery. Purchased at Vivienne Westwood, Manchester in May 2002 for £45, and worn for the reopening of Manchester Art Gallery in the same month.
