Summary

Thick pale blue cotton jersey leggings with elasticated waist and printed all over with black cameo female head portraits. Worn with a black sleeveless turtleneck. Woven label 'Helen Storey, made in England'. Purchased around 1990 from Helen Storey's first solo collection after her collaboration with Tracey Boyd. Bought at the Newburgh Street shop in London. Helen Storey was apprenticed at Valentino and Lancetti and worked as Boyd & Storey in London, 1987-9 before setting up on her own in 1990 when she also won Young Designer of the Year. Her King Street store opened in 1992, but she went bankrupt in 1995.
