Northenden Parish Church
Summary
A view of the South side of St Wilfrid's Church in Northenden, South Manchester. The church is seen from a low viewpoint, which solidly grounds its sandy-coloured walls, and makes the medieval tower seem almost squat. A grassy graveyard occupies the foreground. The watercolour, which is in an arched format, has suffered light damage over time, and is pale, with the green of the trees to the right faded to a bluish tint.
