Summary

Light blue Harris tweed lounge suit. Three piece suit; Light blue Harris tweed. Jacket; Single breasted with three grey plastic buttons (mottled). One buttonhole at left lapel. Breast pocket with self fabric band and two hip pockets with piped edges and flaps. Shaping given by one vertical dart each side of chest from hem. Back cut in two pieces with no vents. Back of collar is blue flannel. Four buttons at sleeve wrists. Interior; lined grey rayon sateen with cream rayon sateen sleeves. Deep buttoned pocket and small one at left side hip and right chest. Labels; 1- Harris tweed guarantee label; 2- Tailored by John Collier at Oxford St London. Written in blue ink in inside sleeve "Harvey" crossed out then "Lindsey", Waistcoat; No collar, single breasted, 6 mottled buttons. Two pockets each side. Hem has very deep points. From these through lower pockets run shaping darts. Back; grey rayon sateen with top stiched centre back seam. Self fabric band with silver metal buckle. Interior; fully lined with cream rayon twill. Trousers; Fly fastening with 8 plastic buttons and metal hook and bar at waistband. 1.5" (3.5cm) waistband has buttons for braces. Below it v shapted buttoned flap pockets each side and two tucks. Side pockets. Back, waistband continues straight with small slit at CB and two buttons for braces. Buttoned pocket with binding at right hip. 1.5" (3.5cm) turn ups.
