Summary

Public: Four tea cups and saucers, hard paste porcelain, egg shell thin, relief-moulded with shell pattern and covered in iridescent lustrous glaze. Private: Egg shell thin tea cup, yellowish in colour, tapering to narrow concave foot, with seaweed shaped loop handle, diverging at the top into two fronds. Exterior sides moulded in textured vertical panels resembling side of a sea urchin or a shell, with undulating rim at top. Whole covered in mother-of-pearl type iridescent lustre glaze. Slightly thicker bodied flat saucer, edges curving upwards with everted rim. Upper surface moulded with narrow and wide textured shell type panels, radiating out from plain central well for cup. Undulating rim.
