Summary

Conical chocolate cup tapering to flat foot, with two sharply angled gilt loop handles curving in at lower terminals. Decorated with uniform oeil-de-perdrix pattern of small green enamel circles within circles of tiny puce enamel dots. Wide gilt borders round rim and foot of simple flowerheads. Shallow domed cover with moulded ring handle painted in gilt. Same oeil-de-perdrix pattern, circles decreasing in size towards centre, gilt flower head borders round central handle and outer rim. Shallow saucer with steep sloping sides and indented well. Oeil-de-perdrix pattern in green and puce, between two gilt flowerhead borders, plain white well for cup.
