We are looking for an evaluator that will help us to demonstrate the value of our work so far, keep clarity of mind and communication, unpack and challenge bottlenecks, and make the best use of our project data to leverage support for further work throughout the project. An in-depth evaluation covering the whole Taking Stock project has been included in the project plan and will be funded by NLHF under this grant. This will help to keep the project on track and ensure that all lessons learned from this new approach are taken into account for future work.
We have already engaged a specialist consultant to carry out a work within the project, Jenny Durrant will be working with our Manchester Art Gallery team on a collections disposal framework to inform the long term future of the collection, which will be delivered via three workshops. We expect there to be some overlap between this work and our evaluation work outlined in this brief.
