Landscape scene of a large garden with rows of trees at the midground horizon. There is a group of three figures at the centre left foreground wearing clerical robes with wide brimmed hats. The figure to the left of the group is facing to the right and holding an open book. There are tall trees with upper foliage only to the right and centre. A line of figures can be seen in the distance behind trees to the upper right.
