Turning Form
Summary
Abstract design made up of different line patterns which show a form seemingly turning back on itself. This form has evolved from organic shapes; sections of it appear like the trunk of a tree or rolling hills in a landscape. Vertical lines in a rectangle at the lower edge of the composition form a kind of plinth for the structure, while a line towards the upper edge suggests a horizon. Lithograph from an edition of 60 printed by Ravel, Paris and published by the Redfern Gallery, London.
