Perspective of Buile Hill House, Salford
Summary
Neoclassical building. Perspective view showing main facade and part of a wing to the right. Building has two levels, Corinthian pilasters on ground floor, balcony on first floor. Buile Hall, once home to the Salford Natural History Museum, was originally a 'Greek' villa, erected by Thomas Potter, Chairman of the Royal Manchester Institution and first Mayor of Manchester. It still survives, though much altered.
