Summary

deep orange viscose, printed with small coloured floral sprigs and trimmed dark blue braid. Square neckline, edged with band bordered in blue tape, front and back; long sleeves gathered to shoulder and with elasticated cuffs; sash effect at waist comprising band edged in blue tape; vertical seams either side cf bodice, overstitched; back bodice gathered in to neck; attached ties fastening cb; full skirt (in 16 panels) with deep inverted box pleats either side cf and cb; left side placket with 3 buttons; unlined; woven label cb neck "Jeff Banks, London W1, made in England" and printed label "100% viscose, dry clean only". Jeff Banks set up on his own in 1963 in a shop called 'Clobber', and traded until 1974 when a fire destroyed his whole stock.
