Summary

Figure group with female figure sat in centre with her right hand up to her face and wearing a long robe. Three figures with curly hair and angel wings surround the central female (one on the right, one on the left and one above). The winged figure in the centre at the top of the group holds in their arms a baby wrapped in cloth. The winged figure on the right holds up both hands to support the baby. Princess Charlotte, the only daughter of George IV, died in childbirth. Her monument, not executed to this design, is at St. George's Chapel, Windsor.
