Jacket : Safari style, loose jacket in shirt-style with loing cuffed sleeves, two flapped button-down breast pockets. Turndown shirt type colar and fastening CF with seven plastic buttons. Unlined. Jacket label CB : "Yves Saint Laurent, Rive Gauche, Paris 38 Bust (unfitted) 40" (101cm) Length 28.5" (72cm)" Skirt : "Matching, with full elngth CF opening, fastening with five plastic buttons. Wide wrap-around waist band with long ties (to encircle waist twice). Four rows of machine stitching decorating the waistband. Unlined. Purchased by donor from The Rive Gauche Shop in Watergate, Washington DC when attending London Festival Ballet's "Spectre De La Rose" starring Nureyev, with her art critic husband.
