Summary
Green coloured silk embroidered with green and grey floral beads, grey sequins, grey, green and gold bugles and cut-out shapes, mostly circular, filled with embroidered net, in semi-abstract floral design. Lined with cream silk satin. Bodice built onto lining. Low V shaped neck front and back with cream silk drawstring tying centre front and back. Fastening at back. Interlined with white silk chiffon. Edged with band of lace trimmed with green floral beads. Large green silk net bow and metal buckle at front set with faceted green glass stone and four smaller white ones, fastening centre back. Skirt with beaded embroidered net edged with frill. Sleeves lined with white chiffon to just below elbow, trimmed with beaded net. Skirt lining fastening centre back. Waistband printed : "By Appointment to the Queen, Jay's Limited, Regent Street W" Silk label marked : "Lady Pearson"
