Whitehead, James and Charles

Summary

Circular dinner plate with deep well, flattened rim and shallow footring. Broad fluted sides to well with impressed rouletted zigzag bands above and below, pierced openwork border to rim of formalised four-petalled flowers, with impressed zigzag and relief-moulded beaded borders to edge. Pale cream coloured earthenware body with yellowish glaze and three stilt marks to rim.
