Summary

Public: Fluted baluster shaped teapot with tall galleried rim and leaf-moulded handle and spout. Cream coloured earthenware, decorated with vertical green-glazed stripes. Private: Baluster shaped teapot on everted recessed base, with scrolling loop handle with leafy spur at thumbrest and scrolling spurs at terminals, and S-shaped spout with acanthus detail at base. Engine-turned vertically fluted body with impressed beaded band at shoulder, surmounted by tall flared galleried neckrim with scalloped edge and pierced decoration of alternating quatrefoils and diamonds. Tall domed fluted cover with flared rim, surmounted by fluted acorn finial, small pierced hole to one side. Pale cream coloured earthenware body with greenish-yellow glaze, embellished with six regularly spaced vertical green-glazed stripes to body and cover.
