Summary
Model of La Marguerite made of beechwood, sycamore and twine with brass fittings. The bodywork is painted and gilded. Model of a 34 gun frigate set on a wood plinth and mounted inside a glass case. Designed and made by William Stanfield who retired as curator from Manchester Art Gallery in 1914.
