Simple A-line 'baby-doll' shape with collarless top with very high rounded yoke and skirt gathered in all round; CB 57 cms zip; lined lilac acetate; woven label 'Designed by Janice Wainwright for Simon Massey, London'. a Janice Wainwright garment worn by donor's wife, Susan Finch (1939-83). She married donor in 1969, and was a personal friend of Janice Wainwright, working for her at the time of the marriage.
