Summary
Navy blue woven fibre stiffened with sparterie. Large shallow crown, brim turning first up almost level with top of crown, then down vertically and curving in at bottom to fit head. Matching ribbed ribbon round outside of brim with knot at front backed with pale blue ribbon. Crown lined with blue rayon. Worn at fashion show "Summer in Cotton" in 1960.
